Description: Check out my alto sax cover and freestyle improvisation of "When I'm Gone" by Eminem. The song is from his first greatest hits compilation album Curtain Call: The Hits. My sound engineer was going for something a little more new age and futuristic when putting the track together, so we experimented on some things. While recording the rap sections on my saxophone he wanted a sound that would match the ferocity of Eminem's music. That was our aim and I tried my best to also rap a little on the sax.
